"Kareta is a complete angel.I found her when I was at rock bottom with my daughter. Someone recommended Kareta to me when I was really struggling and didn’t know what to do next. The minute I spoke to her, I knew my daughter was going to be in safe hands. She was so sympathetic to what we were going through. I was completely consumed by worry and anxiety about how poorly my daughter had become, but Kareta was calm, understanding and reassuring. Kareta came into our lives at a time when we genuinely felt lost. My daughter had experienced significant bereavement and was struggling with her mental health. Kareta built a relationship with her based on trust, kindness and understanding, and that made all the difference. My daughter took to Kareta straight away. She loved the fact that their meetings weren’t held in school or in a traditional counselling environment. Kareta would take her for a coffee, a walk around the park, or even just a drive. At a time when it felt like everything I said or did was wrong, we needed somebody neutral to help us and guide us both back onto the right path. Kareta oozes kindness and compassion. She is genuinely invested in helping young people who have lost their way. Looking back, I honestly believe Kareta’s support changed the course of my daughter’s life. I feel quite emotional writing this, to be honest. I don’t know what we would have done without her. I would recommend Kareta wholeheartedly."

"Kareta has truly been a light in the darkness of our grief. Whether guiding us together in group family counselling, supporting my children in their one-to-one sessions, or meeting with me individually, her incredibly calming presence brings immediate peace. She has an exceptional gift for making children feel safe and understood while providing deep, personalized care for adults. We are immensely grateful for her guidance, and I highly recommend her to any family navigating loss."

"Kareta is absolutely amazing. When we first started working together, I had recently experienced a bereavement during the COVID pandemic and was suffering from frequent panic attacks. I was unable to work, struggled to socialise with friends, and felt quite lost about my future and how I would be able to achieve my goals. Prior to meeting Kareta, I had worked with various counsellors and services, but none of them seemed to connect with me or provide the support I needed. From our very first session, Kareta's approach felt different. It was far less clinical and rigidly structured, which made it much easier for me to open up about how I was feeling and the changes I wanted to make in my life. Kareta has a wonderful way of communicating that makes you feel as though you're talking to a trusted friend. There was never any pressure to have all the answers or to fully understand why I was feeling the way I did. Looking back, I think this supportive and accepting approach is what allowed me to make progress, often without even realising it at the time. Thanks to Kareta's support, I was able to complete two university degrees and go on to build a career in the mental health sector, supporting others who have experienced distressing life events. Most importantly, she helped me rebuild my confidence in myself and regain a sense of direction during one of the most difficult periods of my life.
